We were asked to propose a way to organize a narrow entry space in wchich a counter for two people should be placed along with a shop space. To add to this we had to fit a display containing the clou de pragramme: a special edition of an art deco sugar bowl designed by Julia Keilowa and produced by Norblin Factory before WWII. The formal language was supposed to reflect the industrial character of pre-existing interiors by using copper, steel and matte gray surfaces. The only stronger contrast is the blue velved interior of the cabinet containing Keilowa’s spherical bowl reminding of for royal insygnia displays.
